Where can I go to study

The Institute for Worship
Studies was founded with that question in mind.
More and more professors
of church music, music ministers and pastors realize there
is a gap in their education. They have the music education and the skills
for music and worship leadership, but they lack the knowledge of the
biblical foundations, historical development, theological reflection and
cultural analysis for effective worship ministry in today’s world.
IWS was founded to meet this need and prepare
leaders for the challenging task of worship ministry in a complex and

RECEIVES WORSHIP INSTITUTE'S FIRST AWARD
HUNTINGTON,
IN—The Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies has given
its first Award of Distinction in Christian Worship to Kyle Brenneman,
a senior worship leadership major from Huntington University in
Huntington, Ind..
The
award, earned by Brenneman for the quality of his scholarship,
leadership and diligence, includes a $1,000 scholarship to continue

ROBERT E. WEBBER INSTITUTE FOR WORSHIP STUDIES ACHIEVES PRE-ACCREDITATION STATUS
Candidate Status Granted by Association for Biblical Higher Education
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies (IWS)
has been granted Candidate Status by the Commission on Accreditation
of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
In granting the Status at its February 19 meeting, the Commission commended the
Institute for its “progress and innovation.”

Doctor of Worship Studies (D.W.S.) or the Master
of Worship Studies (M.W.S.) degree.
